WoodWinds wins the 2011 “Business of the Year Award” from
the Branford Chamber of Commerce!
Chef Silvio accepted his
award and thanked the board of directors and all in
attendance for voting for WoodWinds. He gave a heartfelt
talk about his dreams of owning a banquet facility coming
true, and the joy he feels when it’s filled with people for
all the special events in their lives.

It was a “sold out” night at R.J. Julia’s Bookstore in
Madison, CT, for authors of “Cooking with Chef Silvio;
Stories and Authentic Recipes from Campania” Silvio
Suppa and Yale historian, Anthony Riccio, with their
publishers at SUNY Press (Albany, NY), Co-Director, Donna
Dixon and Marketing Director Fran Keneston.
After signing hundreds of books, the Chef invited
everyone to his restaurant to taste recipes from his book.
